ONE FOR SORROW It's got it's eyes on you And knows your every move Up in the empty trees The sky is filled with blackened leaves JACKDAW NO REMORSE MORBID CAUSE NEVERMORE It's got it's claws in you Black feathers in your view Stabbing stabbing stabbing stabbing Until you meet the ground This is now, echoes in black, your last grasp, your last gasp The only sound a pitch so shrill, your soul passes on, live on… CARRION JACKDAW

THIRTEEN TIMES Time evolves and dissolves in the blink of an eye All that we own accumulates, fades and passes on We're architects in an end that we have seen Visions so macabre and dark it cuts through flesh 13 TIMES There were times carving lines in a reckless place An open space occupied by pressures within There's broken glass at my feet but I can crawl As temptation presents itself in objects that are so sharp 13 TIMES the full moon shines 13 TIMES the apostles arrive 13 STEPS on the ladder of death 13 is the day of the condemned Like life death is forever Like death it's always waiting Superstitions of your destiny Until your dying day you'll never know who you are

Death Tides 02:14
DEATH TIDES Death tides are rolling in To the open arms of old England Carried on the waves of a wicked wind Black sails bring death from within DEATH TIDES DEATH TIDES What should have been imports of wealth Was a fatal bout of ill health Dock hands unload so unaware As dangerous fumes fill the air DEATH TIDES DEATH TIDES What should have been imports of wealth Was a fatal bout of ill health Dock hands unload so unaware As dangerous fumes fill the air DEATH TIDES DEATH TIDES Bodies drained up in November Uninspired, heartbroken In need of direction These humans are so tired They're pushed to the hilt Coughing up blood in sickness Sitting and shivering in bedroom coffins This must be the END Ruling classes were not immune As the cemeteries multiply Kings and queens fall to their knees Ravagings of their disease

BLACK/WHITE II All words appear to me as if they'd rather be Received as a form or an object I will ignore It's hard to read But I want to believe In a knowledge that's wrong and right The only colours are BLACK AND WHITE As serpents begin to arise from in between the lines They're imbedded into my brain and distract me on every page So I continue to read But I want to believe In a knowledge thats wrong and right The only colours are BLACK AND WHITE In this life we live With each passing day Theres only so much time Before we fade away

SHADOW OF A RAT Attention please all fragile ones A death scent lies dormant in fossil form It's never seen daylight, only lives for the night In vile conditions of its afterlife In the shadow of a RAT RAT RAT RAT Below the pavement through the smallest door Downstairs in the basement in skeletal form Its presence was felt but it's not seen Making moves behind you so silently In the shadow of a RAT RAT RAT RAT

B.A.T.S 03:04
B.A.T.S The door was locked I feel so down I can't lift my head from the ground I'd come so far it was so dark I found the key but not the spark An open door I stand before An offer to an endless world To step inside is to decide Modern life is worth the strife BURNT AT THE STAKE An empty room I stand within Not guilty of a crime or sin Victim of an ancient law I crack a smile 'cause I want more Doused in flames, myself to blame But I do not feel any shame To give my soul up to the fire And give voice to the Salem Choir BURNT AT THE STAKE for what you believe And make no mistake they want you to bleed An effigy for all to see burns high above the sea The blackest waves they crash on rocks, you disappear Now you're gone, you're going, ascending Finding all the makers of this world

New Grave 03:24
NEW GRAVE That summer that never came That summer of discontent A love affair we never had Ideas of blood and wine Candles and purple skies ASPECTS OF THE DEEPEST GLOOM Now please make room For a brand new grave It's like sending flowers to an unmarked grave They come right back to me and they remember my name So I'll send dead flowers on a day to celebrate And hope they die the most suspicious fate
11.
THE FALL OF GREATNESS It's so touchy feely It's so creepy crawly It sends a shiver right down my spine You sleep so bad at night You often wonder why The demons call you in the hour of sin FALL OF GREATNESS FALLING TONIGHT You talk to those unknown Your soul you have outgrown You are familiar to everyone You walked into this maze Now navigate your way To an end where the heart still beats
12.
PURGING THE FLOWERS In the dusk in the brown In the coffin in the corner Trembling in a winters frost Like life's always waiting What we know and what we fear It's all together not clear on the edge of every town But we face up to the trees from the day of birth Its a descent back to earth what lies inbetween The night was far gone The morning had just begun on the edge of consciousness I tap my spinal index and sleep with optimism The earth wont glow it will only shows the clouds we create The moon is slow, the moon will take you home I've passed the worst The lives it affects the light it projects The moon moves so slow A polished sound can only decay as I exercise rebellion Absorb everything, ignore everyone No longer ruled by blood and land, now by skill and labour of hand
